Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, implement and control all operations and activities within the estate according to the practice and guidelines provided by the Compnay.

  • Manage the expediture within the approved limits.
  • Oragnize, supervise, train, coach and counsel and assess team members towards achieving optimum productivity and work quality

Requirements
  • Candidate must possess a Degree or Diploma in Plantation Management or other related disciplines form recognized universities.
  • At least 10 years of working experience in plantation industry.
  • Knowledge in jungle clearing would be an added advantage.

  • Prepare monthly payroll, costing returns and monthly reports

Assistant Manager

Job description
  • Assist the Head of Department to manage the end-to-end company secretarial matters including convening of board meetings/board committee meetings/management meetings/annual general meetings and timely preparation of minutes of those meetings.
  • Assist Head of Department to draft and/or vet agreements, announcements, circulars and other documents, to provide support to all corporate transactions undertaken by the Group and to provide guidance and legal advice to the Group’s internal stakeholders.
  • Attend to any special / ad hoc tasks assigned by the Head of Department.
  • Act as a point of communication between the board of directors and the shareholders.
  • Liaise with external regulators and advisers, such as lawyers, auditors and other external parties on all matters involving KFIMA and its group of companies.

Role Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized university. ICSA / company secretarial license is an added advantage.
  • At least 5 year of relevant working experience, preferably with prior exposure working in a public-listed company.
  • Strong drafting and minute writing skills.
  • Well-versed in contracts and company laws, Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, the Malaysian Code of Corporate Governance as well as other relevant corporate and securities legislation.
  • Good inter-personal and communication skills with positive attitude.
  • Meticulous individual with strong sense of responsibility, proactive & initiative.
